At the Midsize Enterprise Summit held here in Austin this week, Coolhead presented a new flat rate Cloud management service for midmarket companies using Office 365 and Google Apps for Work as well as an incentive for those who haven’t yet migrated their legacy servers to cloud productivity platforms like Google and Microsoft.

This Year’s Midsize Enterprise Summit was the world’s largest-ever independent gathering of midmarket CIOs and senior Information Technology executives.  Over two hundred and fifty midmarket CIOs and one hundred leading Information Technology vendors and solution providers gathered here for three days of boardroom discussions, analyst meetings and presentations.     

The theme for the 2016 Midsize Enterprise Summit was “The Connected CIO” and focused on how midmarket IT Directors and their senior executives can position themselves as the ultimate business innovators driving competitive advantage through new technology solutions and strategies.

The three-day event was packed with content jointly curated by The Channel Company and Gartner Research and was aimed at educating Information Technology executives about the latest midmarket developments, opportunities and business technology strategies.

Coolhead Tech is riding on the heels of the IT consulting work the company did for Dr. Ben Carson, retired Neurosurgeon and former Republican candidate for president.   There the company acted as virtual CIO and was responsible for the organization’s overall IT strategy.  In October 2015, in the heat of the republican presidential primary, the company was recognized for excellence in Campaign Cyber-security* by Washington DC based InfoSec Security Institute.

In August the company announced it was the recipient of another honor, The Hubspot Impact Award for Integration Innovation.  This award , presented for one of many integrations the company innovated on for the campaign, integrated Zendesk, a leading helpdesk and customer service solution and Hubspot Connect, the leading marketing automation platform.  The end result, a service called #ASKBEN, helped  the candidate to provide a new level of online interaction with voters.

In September Coolhead was named to Penton Publishing’s  2016 Talkin’ Cloud Top 100 Cloud Service Providers List.  The list recognizes emerging Cloud Service Providers.  Similar to their traditional IT Service Provider counterparts these IT professionals specialize in business apps, Cloud strategies and managing technology platforms like Google Apps for Work, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google’s Cloud platform.
