Here are the Benefits Google Workspace Admins Enjoy Most About Google Cloud:
Google's Unified Communications Strategy is coming together in 2019 with Google Chat for group and individual messaging, Meet for high-definition audio and video calls and Google Voice.
Google Drive in G Suite Business and Enterprise Editions allows for unlimited Cloud storage, allowing file sizes up to 5TB each. With Drive File Stream clients can interact with documents seamlessly in Windows and with Microsoft Office.
Docs, Sheets and Slides are the tip of the iceberg for G Suite. Knowledge workers get a plethora of collaborative apps that play well with other formats and introduce intelligent new ways to work together.
The most important factor in choosing an online platform for your organization should be security, privacy and control. Google's Admin Console, Google Vault and Mobile Device Management offer the most exceptional security suite available to Information Technology Departments.
End users appreciate the Google apps they're already familiar with for coordinating their work-life balance. Apps like Google Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Keep are robust, useful and multi-platform. Best of all, the Apps Administrator remains in control of corporate data.
G Suite started years ago as a small hodge podge of apps revolving around Google's popular Gmail for consumers. Today, Google Cloud's rate of innovation has grown exponentially. With tools like AppMaker, Google Cloud Platform and Tensorflow, exponential innovation is within reach for all G Suite customers.
Google Apps changed the way we work from independent silos to a cohesive team. Watch this short video clip to see how Google Workspace continues to improve the way we work together.
You'll need a domain name to set up G Suite and you'll need to login to your domain host (eg GoDaddy, Enom, Netsol.) Confirm your access and how to get to Advanced DNS before starting your free trial.
Head to https://www.coolheadtech.com/gsuite-free-trial and enter your domain name to start the free trial. Note that you should use your domain name, as registered with your host in step 1. If your website is www.coolheadtech.com you would use coolheadtech.com.
After you initiate a free trial of G Suite business you'll receive two emails. One from Apps Admins and one from Google. The Apps Admins email has your account information, the admin login information to G Suite. Click the link in email or open a new tab and head to admin.google.com to sign in, accept Google's Terms of Service and continue to verification.
In G Suite Admin Console head to the Setup Wizard or Domains App
On the Verify your domain page, you should see the Log in to your domain host’s website section. If you don’t, click Choose a different method and select Add a domain host record (TXT or CNAME).
Check the following boxes:
I have successfully logged in.
I have opened the control panel for my domain.
In the Create a new TXT record section, copy the contents of the Value/Answer/Destination field. This is your verification record.
After you've completed these steps, allow a few minutes for the systems to update and information to propagate. Return to the verification page inside G Suite Admin Console and click Verify.
You'll need to add/modify more DNS (Domain Name Service) records to start having mail delivered to your new G Suite business accounts. If you currently use the domain to send and receive email you'll want to coordinate a time for users to change and allow the opportunity to migrate messages from your existing mail server.
At a minimum there are 2 types of DNS records you are editing/creating for email routing. MX Records tell other servers where to deliver mail for your domain. An SPF entry is a TXT Record that detects forging sender addresses during the delivery of the email.
Once you've decided that G Suite is the right productivity solution for your business you can finalize your subscription by completing your G Suite billing profile here: https://www.coolheadtech.com/complete-trial.
The best part is that billing doesn't start until after your free trial - so it's best to complete billing profile before your 30 day free trial of G Suite is up.
