Austin gets $8 million for small business growth

The city of Austin has received $8 million from the federal government to establish reduced rate loans for small businesses looking to expand.

The business loan pool was granted as part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Loan Guarantee Program to the city’s Small Business Development Program in the Economic Growth and Redevelopment Services Office. Capital CDC
