Who to Meet with at TCEA 2106

google-apps-consultant-chris-alghini.jpgThose attending TCEA 2016 can come by booth 2788 and meet Chris Alghini, Coolhead Tech's Senior Cloud Strategist. Chris has extensive knowledge of what it takes to make a school's technology infrastructure run. He's credited with coming to Berkshire School, an elite, 100-year old boarding school in Massachusetts, and starting a digital revolution. Paul Christopher, Head of School at the time, credited Chris with bringing Berkshire "from the technological dark ages and into the 21st century" due to his "extraordinary skill and outstanding work ethic."

"He is a visionary who could conceive new dimensions for our program, develop a plan for how to achieve them, and oversee the process whereby ideas were transformed into reality."

Laura Smith of Berkshire School describes Chris as the "standard" of I.T. professionals she's worked with: "I have yet to meet one who matches his qualifications, energy, personality, and expertise. He introduced me to the world of internet technology and did so with patience. . . . Many times, Chris went the extra mile, working long hours with a cheerful disposition that was greatly appreciated."

brian-haley.jpgBrian Haley, Coolhead Tech's senior Google Apps administrator will be at the convention as well. Brian specializes in setting up well structured Google Domains and migrating users from legacy systems like Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes. He's been the Google Apps Administrator for leading INC 500 companies, and most recently he set up, structured and deployed Google Apps for the Ben Carson for President campaign.

How can your school take advantage of these resources?

Meet with Chris and Brian and find out what making Coolhead Tech your Google for Education partner can do for you.

  • Use Google Classroom to convert innovation into action. Google Classroom facilitates student collaboration and teacher assessment that allows students to improve and make adjustments in real time. It also allows teachers to manage student portfolios in a single, easy-to-access location.

  • Integrate chromebooks to create a 1:1 campus. Find out how the affordability and flexibility of chromebooks can give your students access to the information they need like they've never had it before. Chris can also show you the advantages the amazing devices can give you beyond just student engagement.

  • Discover software as a solution (SaaS). Every school day comes with certain functions that are repetitive. Taking role, recording grades, running reports. Each one takes only a few seconds, but they have to happen every day, and then schools have to collect the information. Chris can show you the SaaS options available to automate those process and free teachers up so they can teach.

  • Broaden your broadband. Chris knows the solutions for your bandwidth problems. Now that students carry powerful computers in their pockets, schools are needing every bit of bandwidth they can get, Talk to him about how Ruckus in the Classroom can give your school the WiFi it needs.

While these are problems common to many schools, every district brings its own unique challenges. See Coolhead Tech at booth 2788 and meet one-on-one with a Google Certified Administrator to find out how we can help you as your Google for Education partner.
