State of Colorado Selects Google Apps for Email & Calendar Services

The Governor's Office of Information and Technology has selected Google to provide e-mail and calendar services for all Colorado state employees, the state announced today. The state said the decision will allow it to eliminate "disjointed and aging" e-mail systems and provide a single e-mail solution to all employees. The move will save approximately $2 million a year, said officials.
